Manager of Special Projects, Every Mother Counts
Co-producer, "No Woman, No Cry"
Clancy currently assists Christy Turlington Burns and works as Manager of Special Projects for Every Mother Counts, Turlington Burns' campaign to end preventable deaths in pregnancy and childbirth. Prior to joining EMC, Clancy co-produced Turlington Burns' feature length documentary film, No Woman, No Cry, about maternal health in Bangladesh, Tanzania, Guatemala, and the USA. No Woman, No Cry premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2010, and had its US television debut in May 2011 on OWN: the Oprah Winfrey Network. The film is currently being broadcasted around the world.
Clancy's previous experiences in the film industry include assisting Director, Vanessa Roth on the Teacher Salary Project, and working as Outreach Coordinator for Constantine's Sword, as well as assisting producers on a grindhouse indie film in Santa Marta, Colómbia. Prior to joining the film and non-profit world, Clancy worked as a contributing editor for Teen Vogue for 5 years, and has lived in France, Italy, and Switzerland.
Clancy graduated from the Gallatin School of Individualized Studies with a B.A. in the Social Theories of Western Religion in 2008. Clancy recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and ran the 2012 NYC Marathon for EMC. She currently lives in New York City.
