Laura Bibelheimer

Washington, DC Program Assistant, Every Mother Counts

Laura Bibelheimer is the Washington, D.C. program assistant for Every Mother Counts. Prior to taking a position with the EMC team, Laura participated in several volunteer projects while traveling through Southern and Eastern Africa. Previously, she held the position of Deputy Supervisor for a locally elected official in Yolo County, California. Prior to that, she worked on legislation and advocacy at the state level, including for the California State Assembly Health Committee and as a Legislative Assistant for a state representative from San Francisco. Laura’s experience also includes grant writing, fundraising, and political elections. She is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.



Laura graduated with a B.A. from the University of California at Davis in International Relations with an emphasis on World Trade and Development in Developing Regions.
