Every Partner Counts: Babble

In December 2011, we attended the TED Women conference in Washington, DC. If you haven’t heard of TED—it's basically brain candy. You go into an auditorium, are asked to turn all phones off, and sit back to just listen and learn. You are treated to a series of speakers who present on a wide range of topics. It takes a lot to stand out at TED but Alisa Volkman and Rufus Griscom, founders of Babble, managed to do just that. Maybe it's because this husband and wife team put modern parenting back into the 'real' zone. Their approach is both honest and hilarious. I interviewed them after their presentation for AOL. Alisa and Rufus have built an incredible platform for parents and are a natural partner for Every Mother Counts.

Thanks CTB, we're honored to be a partner of yours. What you have accomplished with EMC, as a champion of maternal health, is nothing short of extraordinary. You've been a tireless heroin for mothers around the world. It takes a huge amount of dedication and persistence to actually change things, and you and EMC are doing just that.

We at Babble are looking forward to continuing to work with you and the EMC team to continue to advance maternal health for mothers everywhere.
