Choices in Childbirth is an interactive film series with accompanying resources that assists users to take an active role in their maternity care.
Driven by the belief that quality, respectful, and equitable maternity care is a fundamental human right, and that everyone deserves the information they need to exercise their rights and get the care they need, Choices in Childbirth was designed to educate people about their pregnancy and birth options.
The series was created by Every Mother Counts, in partnership with the education and activation team at Primary Maternity Care; clinical and program leaders at CVS Health; a production team at Critical Mass; a measurement and evaluation team at Mathematica; and a national Working Group and Advisory Committee.
The educational and interactive film series can be explored by resource type, topic, and trimester, and includes a wealth of materials to support people along their pregnancy journey.
