In some parts of the world, women must travel many miles to reach a provider or clinic while pregnant or in labor, often by foot. We run to raise awareness of maternal health disparities.

Frequently Asked Questions
Once you register and accept a spot you are committed to reaching the fundraising minimum by the deadline. If the minimum is not met, the credit card on file will be charged. We are here to help you succeed, and most of our runners not only meet but exceed their goals!
There are two deadlines and they depend on the race timeline. The first deadline (25% of minimum) is generally two months ahead of race day, and the second deadline is two weeks after race day.
Depending on the race, you may be able to cancel and defer your entry to the following year once your fundraising commitment is met. Each race has their own guidelines and policies.
Spots are not first come, first served. We have an application process and thank you for your patience as our small team reviews and processes all submissions.

100 #teamemc runners toed the line this past Sunday and made their way through the five boroughs to become NYC Marathon Finishers! Students, coaches, teachers, nurses, doctors, realtors, bankers, midwives, lawyers, moms, dads, and more. They’ve shared their WHY and inspired not only all of us but their own families and communities.
Thank you Team for coming alongside us and raising over $420,000 for @everymomcounts.

Team EMC Race Doulas will be out in full force tomorrow cheering for the @nycmarathon runners, including our 100 teammates.
We’ll be near mile 7 in Brooklyn, runners right, and 1st Ave + 125th after mile 19, runners left.
