IT’S TIME TO ASK

How many Black, Brown, and Indigenous people have to die giving birth?

In the United States, women are more likely to die from complications of pregnancy and birth than in any other high-resource country. Black and Indigenous women are 2 to 3 times more likely than white women to die.

Leaders, organizations, and allies in the birth and reproductive justice movements are calling for accountability, birth justice and legal guarantees for safe, respectful anti-racist care.
